VITICOLTORI ASSOCIATI VINCHIO - VAGLIO SERRA
ASTI - PIEMONTE
HARVEST 2009 REPORT.

The autumn-winter period has been determined by low temperature, heavy rainfall and snow that allowed a good water reserve, failed in the previous vintages. Following up a good sprouting, thanks to the high temperature in may, the flowering took places ten days in advance. The weather in August recalled the summer of the 2003, one of the hottest of the last decade. The harvest took place between the first and the second week of September and the collection ended at the end of September. On the whole of the varietals, the quality is very good with some peak of excellence on the Barbera d’Asti Superiore and Moscato d’Asti varietals.
